Dr.Partition provides a safe and user-friendly way to reallocate unused space from other partitions and add it to your system drive.<\/p>\n

How to Add More Space to C Drive on Windows PC<\/h2>\n

It is super easy to extend C drive with Dr.Partition software. Please follow the steps in below to add more space to C drive.<\/p>\n

Step 1: Download and Launch Dr.Partition<\/h3>\n

Download and install Dr.Partition on your Windows PC. Launch the program and wait for it to detect all connected disks and partitions.

Step 2: Backup the D Drive<\/h3>\n

To increase the size of system C drive, Dr.Partition needs to get more space from the adjacent D drive. Please backup all important data from D drive as it is be deleted.<\/p>\n

Step 3: Delete D Drive to Make Room for C Drive<\/h3>\n

Right click on the D drive and choose the “Delete<\/strong>” menu. The deleted space will be marked as unallocated, and this can be used to extend the size of C drive.<\/p>\n

In the main interface, locate and select the C drive. With the C drive selected, right click on it and choose the “Resize<\/strong>” option from the pop-up menu. As you can see, the original C drive is 100 GB.<\/p>\n

Now, move the progress bar to the right size to the right side to extend the C drive. In our case, we add all unallocated space to C drive. When it is done, click the “Resize<\/em><\/strong>” button to proceed<\/p>\n

Next, click the Yes<\/strong><\/em> to confirm the resizing option.<\/p>\n

You will see the following message when it is done successfully.<\/p>\n

Click “OK<\/strong>” and the partition list will be updated automatically. You can see the C drive is extended from 100 GB to 465 GB.<\/p>\n
